Athletics

Athletics at Shrewsbury is open to all; both boys and girls of all ages to participate. We have athletes who would like to learn how to throw a discus or jump over a bar, right up to those who go on and compete for Shrewsbury in the BISAC Meet in Season 3.

The Shrewsbury athletics club is only available in season 3, where athletics is one of the main BISAC sports. We are lucky at Shrewsbury to benefit from a vast array of talented coaches in athletics; some have competed at an International level themselves, others more recreationally, but all bring the same energy and enthusiasm to the track with them. All students from Year 1 – Year 13 participate in the annual Sports Day, however, the athletics team main focus in the sports calendar is the BISAC Track and Field Event and the Fobissea Tournaments.
