Keeping in contact with students who have left Shrewsbury is very important and we are always pleased to receive news from them. Our Alumni Association database is steadily growing and yet we still await the best suggestion for a name (so far the rather contrived Salopsiams and infinitely more inspirational Chali’s Angels). News is filtering through of graduations, post graduate studies, exciting projects; it is always a delight to forge a link with another of our successful graduates.

At the lunch at the end of the second term in the recently extended Sixth Form Centre we celebrated the coming of age of one our current Y13 students, Shrayans, and also the Gold International Awards received by Charles and Aei. Those alumni able to attend all received the specially-designed t-shirt. There have been additional opportunities for small reunions – the orchestra was able to meet up with Ben in London and members were able to benefit from the excellent support of Aei in Birmingham and Fah and Pavee in Cambridge, when attending university interviews or meetings and Jane and Poon came to the Summer Concert.
