The School’s operation is built upon a framework of policies stored in The Policy Compendium.
The Board of Governors provides advice on the school policies as requested by The Principal. The compendium is organised in line with the sections of school operation as identified in the accreditation and inspection procedure:
- School Guiding Statements;
- Teaching and Learning;
- Governance and Leadership;
- Faculty and Support Staff;
- Access to Teaching and Learning;
- School Culture and Partnerships for Learning;
- Operational Systems
A selection of policy documents are made available on the school’s website. Other policies which may be needed by parents are housed in The Parent Portal which requires a unique login and password to access. All policies are available to all members of staff.
Each one of the school policies is reviewed regularly by The Senior Management Team and other colleagues who have specific responsibility and expertise. It is the responsibility of The Senior Management Team to ensure compliance with the school policies and to review and amend them in accordance with regulatory change and actual school case practice.
